Ohrid
has a mild Mediterranean climate where Adriatic and Aegean sea currents
mix with the continental climate. Winters are mild, summers are warm and
the wind from the lake offers refreshment. There are more than 260 sunny
days in the year and water temperature is from 24 to 28 C degrees in the
summer.
These
conditions make Ohrid very attractive to tourists as well as very
appropriate for recovery from illnesses.
